Partly to mostly sunny skies today in between systems. *** couple of snow showers up north, but the brisk wind continues to gust at times over 20 to 25 miles an hour, adding *** certain bite to the air. Wind chills starting the day in the teens. High temperatures will be in the 30s up in the north country to the lower half of the 40s elsewhere. Temperatures back to either side of 50 starting tomorrow, and that will continue into Friday as the next system starts to approach with an increase in clouds tomorrow. You'll notice. Again, after another chilly day Saturday, temperatures trending upward heading into the beginning of next week. So *** couple of more cooler afternoons today it comes with that northwesterly wind which will be gusting at times over 25 miles an hour going into the afternoon. It will lighten up tonight with lows again in the 20s across the area, and that is the next system back out of the northern plains starts to fill in across the area later tomorrow afternoon with *** steady increase in clouds. So temperatures today. Still running below the average for this time of year, which is mid-30s in the north country with clouds and *** few snow showers this morning. Those should wither away going into the afternoon while southern areas will have that brisk wind and partly sunny skies that will lead us to fair skies and lows for most in the 20s tonight. Any sort of early sunshine on Thursday, gradually giving way to clouds. Temperatures back to either side of 50 in the afternoon. We should be in the 40s to lower 50s on Friday. You'll notice there's *** chance of *** passing. Shower Thursday night or *** passing shower with *** mostly cloudy sky on Friday, but *** good portion of the Thursday night and Friday time frame will be dry. We go into the weekend though, and I think Saturday looks to be the day that most maps over the last couple of days have been heading trending toward *** steadier rain. Now, as you will notice here in interior sections of the state, especially if it starts early in the day on Saturday, it could be cold enough for some mixing or even some wet snow as you get up and. Elevation and interior sections of the state, we do still look for the chance of *** couple of lingering showers on Sunday. As far as the wildcard of the forecast, I think Sunday is to the extent of any sort of rain shower activity before going back to partly sunny skies and some milder conditions starting on Monday and going into Tuesday.
