RHOSLC’s Bronwyn Newport served eviction notice for ‘failing to pay rent for Utah apartment’ before marrying CEO husband

REAL Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport was once served an eviction notice from her Utah apartment for failing to pay rent before marrying husband Todd Bradley, court records obtained by The U.S. Sun show.
Years before living in the $6.5m Salt Lake City mansion she currently calls home, the Bravo star resided in a one-bedroom apartment in Provo, Utah.
According to court records obtained exclusively by The U.S. Sun, a complaint was filed against Bronwyn back in November 2005.
At the same time the notice of eviction was initially filed, Bronwyn moved into a different address in the same part of town, public records show.
The eviction court records state that the filing was made due to unpaid rent that totaled between $2,000 and $10,000.
Bronwyn, 39, posted a possession bond of $2,000 five days later after the court filed a motion order of restitution.

However, the case continued for several months and was reassigned to multiple judges in Utah.
A separate order of restitution was filed by a new judge in February 2006 for the amount of $4,453.90.
The bond was paid that same month and the case was eventually dropped, court papers show.
The U.S. Sun reached out to Bronwyn for comment.

Bronwyn’s apartment was just outside of the Brigham Young University campus - where she moved to from Northern California to attend college.
She grew up in Danville, CA - just outside of San Fransisco - but made the move to Provo, UT to pursue her education at BYU.
However, the fashion lover never graduated from the strict university and revealed that she was eventually kicked out of the school.
"I did get kicked out of BYU but not excommunicated! I was raised Mormon, and no longer go, but that's by choice,” she wrote on Instagram in August.
While she didn’t provide a reason for getting kicked out, fans have speculated the school made the decision after Bronwyn became pregnant with her daughter, Gwen.
Bronwyn has stated she was 19 years old when she was pregnant with Gwen - which would be around the same time she was attending BYU.
According to the BYU honor code, which is notoriously strict, the school prohibits “premarital sexual relations, alcohol, tobacco, tea, coffee, and other substance abuse, with potential for expulsion for violations.”
The honor code mandates that students "live a chaste and virtuous life," which includes abstaining from sexual relations outside of marriage.
SECRETIVE PAST
RHOSLC viewers have watched Bronwyn open up about her dynamic with her daughter, Gwen, as well as the teen's biological father - whom she has not named publicly.
However, Bronwyn did state she was not married to Gwen’s father at the time, and he has tragically passed away since they were together.
While filming the show, Bronwyn stated she was being “extremely cautious” to not give away any details that could reveal the identity of Gwen’s father.
Bronwyn’s current husband, Todd Bradley, has said he thinks of Gwen as his own daughter, and the duo appear to have formed a close bond.
FAIRYTALE ENDING
Bronwyn and Todd first met in San Fransisco in 2014 and went on to tie the knot in 2016.
“Him and I were both having lunch by ourselves and he was talking to me and I thought he was hysterically funny,” she said on the show of their first time meeting.
Todd is a global technology executive who has served on the board or as CEO for multiple major corporations.

The successful businessman did not sign a prenup before marrying Bronwyn - which she revealed while filming season 5 of RHOSLC.
"When I met Todd, I was working in finance myself. And if Todd and I got divorced tomorrow, I would not have access to most of the stuff Todd has.
“Because Todd and I are genuinely in a real relationship that does include a physical attraction, it includes a mental attraction, and it includes best friendship.
