Where Rihanna’s runway is her trip from car to dining table at her favorite Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi, for Hailey and Justin Bieber, it’s the walk to and from a service at their celebrity-endorsed religious community Churchome.
Yesterday (March 28), the Biebers were photographed leaving the Los Angeles house of worship, sticking to their own individual codes of style. Hailey wore an oversized cream trench coat, with a thick navy and cream Breton striped top underneath, cropped navy flared pants, and black mules. She accessorized with gold hoop earrings, a chunky gold ring, her go-to cat-eye sunglasses by Otra, and an extra large, black flap clutch bag. Her husband Justin, meanwhile, wore his usual bulbous silhouette and teeny headgear: in a large textured black fleece, a red hoodie, beige trousers, suede brown moccasins, and a tight gray beanie.
Now, remember. Churchome is a cool church. The services have welcomed everyone from Selena Gomez to Kourtney Kardashian and Lana Del Rey. Justin has a matching tattoo with pastor Judah Smith. There’s no need for pearls and prim button-ups here, and both Hailey and Justin Bieber have shown up in some unconventional churchwear in the past, with ‘Sunday Best’ that incorporates oversized sweaters and knife-point stiletto boots for Hailey, and padded sliders and even tinier beanies for Justin. Whatever’s happening, the Biebers serve for service.
