Hartpury University could go into Saturday’s FA Vase semi-final first leg against Whitstable Town as Hellenic League Premier Division champions after Tuesday’s 4 -0 win over Thornbury Town.
Goals from Owen Giles, Louis Manning, Josh Roney and Luke Salter have put them 11 points clear of Roman Glass St George, who have four games left, and Hartpury will be champions if Glass drop points on Thursday night at Fairford Town.
Hartpury suffered only their third defeat of the season, losing 3-2 at Highworth Town on Saturday, Salter and Roney scoring for the Acorns.

The prize is a place at Wembley on May 11, for the 50th Vase final, with Hartpury aiming to become the first Gloucestershire club to make it to the final since Forest Green Rovers won it in 1982, beating Rainworth Miners Welfare 3-0 under the old Twin Towers.

Second-placed Evesham United cut the gap to leaders Yate Town to three points with six games to play after a 2-0 win over Cribbs, while Yate were held 1-1 at Bideford.

Sharpness are fifth after a 2-2 draw at Hanham Athletic, Jamie Walker scoring twice to put the Sharks 2-0 up before Hanham came back to grab a point.
Filton Athletic, in sixth, are still in the title hunt after drawing 2-2 with Quedgeley thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser.
Filton led early on but Sean Lawson levelled and led with a penalty but Filton snatched their late equaliser.

Gloucester City have clinched the South West League Division One North title after their 3-1 win at Paulton Rovers.
Sachiko Kaneko-Grun, Lucabella Davis and Kassidy Grey clinched the win, which, coupled with Bitton’s 2-1 loss to Corsham Town, sees City promoted to the Premier Division, with 16 wins and a draw from their 17 games.
Cirencester Town lost 2-1 to Stockwood Wanderers, Amelia Dudding scoring their goal, and they stay fourth in the table.
Cheltenham Town are four points above the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier drop zone with two games left after going down 2-1 to Exeter City at St James’ Park.
Amber Pollock and Maya Kendell found the net for the Grecians, either side of a Doris Greenwood equaliser for the Robins.
In Division One of the County League, Bishop’s Cleeve lost 1-0 to Mangotsfield United, while Dursley Town crashed 9-1 at AEK Boco Reserves, Lucy Bennett with their goal.

Ellwood are a point behind Division Three leaders Stoke Lane Athletic with two games in hand after their 4-1 win over Abbeymead Rovers.

Spa won 1-0 at Berkeley Town with a penalty from Ruby Beaver, and travel to Southmead CS Reserves in their last game with a two-point lead at the top.
Andoversford, with Emily Skipp scoring all four goals, lost 5-4 to Southmead and their final game is against Lydney Town, due to be replayed after it was abandoned two weekends ago.
