The Big Apple is coming to Delaware for The Playhouse on Rodney Square's 2025-26 Broadway in Wilmington season, featuring a lineup of productions that boasts 20 Tony Awards and two Grammys.

The season's major musical lineup offers "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Kinky Boots," "The Book of Mormon" and Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man."

Subscriptions for the 2025-26 season are now on sale. Single tickets will go on sale later this summer.

"Our entire team is eager to welcome you to Wilmington for a one-of-a-kind Broadway experience,” Skip Pennella, executive director of The Grand, said in a statement.

Mrs. Doubtfire

'Mrs. Doubtfire' has been announced for the Broadway in Wilmington 2025-26 season. The musical tours to The Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington on Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28.

Based on the hit '90s film that starred Robin Williams, "Mrs. Doubtfire" has morphed into a musical that tells the story of an unemployed worker who will do anything for his kids, even playing the role of a Scottish nanny.

"Mrs. Doubtfire'' runs Friday, Sept. 26, to Sunday, Sept. 28.

The Book of Mormon

'The Book of Mormon' tours to The Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2026.

The return of "The Book of Mormon" means audiences will go on a musical-comedy adventure with a pair of missionaries sent halfway across the world to share their faith. This show contains explicit language.

The show runs Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Kinky Boots

'Kinky Boots' tours to The Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington on from Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28.

Those crazy boots are coming back to The Playhouse. "Kinky Boots" follows Charlie Price, a man who is trying to save his father's failing shoe factory after inheriting it. The son finds motivation from Lola, an entertainer searching for stilettos. When the two join forces, they discover they have more in common than they realized in this glittery show that features a Tony-winning score by pop legend Cyndi Lauper.

"Kinky Boots'' runs Friday, May 8, to Sunday, May 10.

The Music Man

Harold Hill is a traveling con artist who has his eyes set on tricking the folks of River City into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he promises to organize. But his real intent is to take their money and flee like a thief in the night. That is, until he falls in love with Marian, the town librarian, and the wayward con artist is inspired to do right by others for a change. "The Music Man" offers a popular soundtrack with tunes like "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Trouble," "'Til There Was You," "Pickalittle" and “Gary, Indiana."

The show runs from Friday, June 5, to Sunday, June 7.
