The Brunei Darussalam Football Referees Association (PPBNBD), in collaboration with the Brunei-Muara District Football Referees Association (PPBDBM), recently held a Tahlil, Doa Arwah, and Doa Kesyukuran at the An-Na’im Mosque in Kampong Panchor Mengkubau to mark the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of the PPBNBD.
PPBNBD President Haji Hamidon bin Haji Mohd Zain, PPBDBM President Roslan bin Omar, committee members and members of both associations were present.
The Tahlil and Doa Arwah prayers were led by imam Suhif @Syua’aib bin Haji Abdullah, while the Doa Kesyukuran for the Golden Jubilee of the association was led by imam Md Saifullah bin Haji Rosli. Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau Haji Hairul Azri bin Haji Salamat witnessed the presentation of wakaf donation from the PPBNBD and PPBDBM to the mosque.
The event is as an annual tradition aimed to enhance the vibrancy of the mosque and strengthen ties among the association’s members. The first waqaf contribution was handed over by the President of the PPBNBD to the imam of the An-Na’im Mosque. – Fadley Faisal
