BELLA VISTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Bella Vista Historical Society will hold their annual meeting at 2 p.m. March 23 at the Bella Vista Historical Museum located at 1885 Bella Vista Way. The meeting is open to the public. The featured speaker will be Vanessa McKuin, executive director of Historic Cane Hill, who will talk about the history of Cane Hill, which was founded as a township in 1829. CALICO CUT-UPS QUILT GUILD

The Calico Cut-Ups Quilt Guild will meet at 1 p.m. March 24 in Sengel Hall (lower level) of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church located at 1001 Kingsland Road in Bella Vista. The speaker will be Rhonda Denney, an award winning artist, quilter, educator and mentor. Colors, landscapes and exotic animals seen by Denney during her residence in Kenya as a young child and her exposure to various cultures and architectures provide her with inspiration. These influences and her 19 years of quilting experience give her the affinity for capturing the spirit of her subjects by using fabric, pigments and stitches to create her fabric art. Her presentation is "Pigment Patchwork -- How Did I Get Here." She will also teach a workshop on Confetti Art from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 25. For more information, email admin@calicocutups.com.

BENTON COUNTY SENIOR DEMOCRATS

The Democratic Party of Benton County Senior Democrats monthly meeting will begin at noon March 24 at Golden Corral, 2605 W. Pleasant Crossing Drive in Rogers. Lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m.

NORTHWEST SECTION OF ARKANSAS MUTUAL UFO NETWORK

Northwest Section of Arkansas Mutual UFO Network will meet from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum, 4290 S.School Ave. in Fayetteville. The meeting room will be open at 9:30 a.m. for early arrivals.

The agenda will include Arkansas UFO/UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena) case reports, an update on the Pathways to Disclosure Project, the Experiencer Resource Team report, book reports and a new documentary clip. Section meetings are open to members, guests and anyone with a genuine interest in UFOs/UAPs. Information: (479) 422-9586.

BENTON COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS

The next Benton County Master Gardeners meeting will be held at 6 p.m. April 1 with social time starting at 5:30 p.m. The group will meet at the First United Methodist Church, 201 N.W. A St. in Bentonville. The church is one block west of the square. People should enter through the west door.

Master Gardener meetings are always open to the public. The speaker in April is Pamela Steider, a Master Gardener who moved to Northwest Arkansas to join the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks team as horticulture manager. Steider spent seven years working as a conservation biologist. In this position, she worked with two species of endangered butterflies and released thousands of monarch butterflies for migration to Mexico.

Master Gardeners are volunteers who are trained in horticulture and share their training by participating in community projects including vegetable gardens that benefit the Helping Hands Food Pantry and the pantry at the Bella Vista Mercy facility, as well as flower gardens at several public buildings.

LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY

The League of Women Voters of Washington County continues its Drinks and Dialogue gatherings at 5:30 p.m. April 2 at Crisis Brewing, 210 S. Nelson Hackett Blvd., in Fayetteville.

The guest speaker will be Ellen M. Weintraut, owner of Northwest Immigration Law in Fayetteville. Her practice focuses on family immigration, naturalization, asylum, humanitarian visas and removal defense. She will provide an overview on immigration and offer updates related to the current administration.

Originally from Rogers, Weintraut currently serves on the American Immigration Lawyers Association's Membership Committee, the CIS Benefits Committee, and is the AILA Local Liaison with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Field Office in Fort Smith. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and their two boys.

This event is free and open to the public.
