Spaghetti dinner to aid local family
A spaghetti dinner to benefit the family of Daniel Malone who took his own life in May 2024 will be from 1 to 6 p.m. March 29 at First United Presbyterian Church, 913 Lock St., Tarentum.
Admission include spaghetti, salad, dessert and a drink and one ticket for the silent auction for $15, dine in or takeout. There will be a silent auction and 50-50 raffle. A portion of proceeds will be donated to PreventSuicidePa.org. For more information, visit malonefamilyfund.com. Tickets available for New Kensington cash bash
New Kensington Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 will host a cash bash Saturday at the Quality Inn, Tarentum Bridge Road, New Kensington.
Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. and the drawings will be every 15 minutes beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and include food and beverages. Winners need not be present.
