The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has allocated Hajj seats to facilitators from all the 27 Local Government Areas of the State.
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Umar Ahmad Labbo, said the move approved by Governor Umar Namadi aims to improve guidance and support for intending pilgrims.
Speaking to reporters in Dutse, he said the facilitators, including both men and women, were selected for their expertise in Hajj rituals and would assist pilgrims at designated centres in Saudi Arabia.
He said the initiative was the first of its kind in the state and would help ensure pilgrims performed their religious duties correctly and represented Nigeria well in the Holy Land.
Alhaji Labbo urged the facilitators to remain committed to their responsibilities and thanked the governor for his continued support.
