The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it will begin distributing uniforms and luggage to intending pilgrims ahead of the 2025 Hajj.
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Umar Ahmad Labbo, told journalists in Dutse that the move is part of early preparations to ensure a smooth pilgrimage.
He said efforts were also underway to process visas for the pilgrims, adding that the board was committed to ensuring no one was left behind.
Alhaji Labbo thanked Governor Umar Namadi for supporting the board’s preparations and ensuring a seamless Hajj operation.
