DGP visits Ayodhya to review Ram Navami festival preparations

Ayodhya: DGP Prashant Kumar on Sunday visited Ram temple in Ayodhya to assess the preparations for the Ram Navami festival which is expected to attract around 50 lakh devotees.
The fest is slated to start on March 30.
The DGP offered prayers at Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. He also observed the temple construction work and gathered information about the preparations for the Ram Navami festival from officials.
He was briefed about the facilities being developed for devotees and checked the progress of CCTV cameras installed in the area. He also learned about the security and crowd control plans ahead of the Ram Navami crowd gathering
