The Eurovision 2025 season is now in full swing and no doubt fans will have the songs from this year’s contest on repeat until we crown a winner in May. But that doesn’t mean we forget about the artists from past contests – they’re still bringing us a lot of new music to enjoy.
Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.
Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

Netta – “Detonate”
Netta was the powerhouse winner of Eurovision 2018, taking the crown for Israel. This week, she dropped a brand-new track — an absolute confidence anthem. It’s catchy, energetic, and totally savage — one of those songs that’ll have you hitting replay over and over. The lyrics discuss not caring what others think, with Netta describing herself as “a bomb ready to detonate” from all the pressure of people who “are not in her shoes.” The track comes with a bold black-and-white music video, and on social media, Netta shared that the song is deeply personal — something she created just for herself:
“I am an artist. I mirror my experiences into my music. Life this year has been a stressful game of Russian Roulette for me in every aspect, and I try to do my best. I did this song for me. I try not to care if you don’t get it.”
Iveta Mukuchyan & Arkadi Dumikyan – “Kinoi pes”
Iveta represented Armenia in 2016. This week, she’s back with a powerful ballad — a collaboration with Armenian pop artist Arkadi Dumikyan. The music video is a stunning mix of water, lights, and pieces of storylines, perfectly complementing the emotional track. The song is called “Like in the Movies,” and if you’ve ever felt that cinematic melancholy, this is the perfect real-life soundtrack for you. The filming process was both cinematic and challenging, with Iveta opening up about the underwater scenes, saying:
“Underwater filming is considered one of the most challenging scenes. We had three water scenes — let me stay silent about how freezing the water was. To capture the underwater scenes, we shot around 80+ takes. After each take, it felt like I couldn’t go back into the water again because I was completely drained. But we kept trying anyway because achieving a great result was too important.”
Barbara Pravi – “Voyage, Voyage”
A very interesting track comes from Barbara Pravi this week. She represented France in 2021. Her newest song is a fresh take on the famous “Voyage Voyage” by French singer Desireless, originally released in 1989. Barbara definitely added her personal touch to the classic, with the magical sound of the cello played by Brazilian artist Dom Le Nena.
The song also serves as a soundtrack for Enya Baroux’s new film, On Ira. The movie explores family bonds — showing that even if a family has its dysfunctional sides, love and care can still hold them together.
Carola – “Via Dolorosa”
Carola represented Sweden in Eurovision three times — first in 1983, then in 1991 when she won, and again in 2006. Her newest song is a deep, emotional ballad that feels almost like a prayer. Titled “Painful Life,” the track touches on religious themes, with Carola portraying Mother Mary in the music video. The Swedish lyrics are a powerful reminder of the story of Jesus, just in time for Easter. This song is part of Carola’s upcoming Easter project, set to release in April, featuring 15 songs. Speaking about her latest track, Carola explained:
“This is definitely among the finest and strongest experiences I will ever have as a singer. Being able to portray Mary Magdalene in the passion drama surrounding the Easter message takes me to the core of my faith, with the death and resurrection of Jesus. It fills me with faith and conviction about a future that is greater than anything we see today. I believe that we need to remind ourselves of God’s great love but also give knowledge to every Swede about what really happened then! And what happens to us when we hear and receive.”
jautì feat. Katarsis – “Išliesiu”
Katarsis are ready to take the stage this year in Basel, representing Lithuania at Eurovision. But before that, they’ve teamed up with Jauti for a new collaboration. The song is called “I Will Spill It,” and it’s featured on Jauti’s new album. This rock track perfectly blends energy and dark vibes into an addictive piece. If you’re a fan of Katarsis’ Eurovision song, you definitely have to check this one out too.
Demy – “Oxygono”
Demy made Greece proud in 2017. Her newest song is called “Oxygen,” and ironically, its sound is absolutely breath-taking. Demy dives into a cool, modern vibe, layering a sleek, contemporary sound with a subtle hint of Greek influence hidden in the instrumental. Her voice flows effortlessly through the track, wrapping around the melody and creating a dynamic, addictive tune
Tamta & Saske – “CHROME HEARTS”
Tamta represented Cyprus in 2019. This week, she teamed up with Greek rapper Saske for a fresh collaboration. Her newest song keeps the dark pop vibe she’s been embracing lately — a genre that suits her extremely well. It’s a modern fusion of pop, electronic, and rap, blending their styles seamlessly.
Fans won’t have to wait long for more, as Tamta’s new album is set to drop at the beginning of next month, on 4 April, with this track being one of the album’s highlights.
Kasia Moś & Grzech Piotrowski – “I Can’t Say”
Kasia competed for Poland in 2017. This week, she joined forces with the beloved Polish artist Grzech Piotrowski, who crafted a beautiful instrumental for her. The song is a heartfelt ballad about life and love, paired with a music video that takes us behind the scenes with Kasia.
What makes this release even more special is that the song was actually written 13 years ago and performed during the finale of the third edition of music program Must Be the Music. It seems it was finally time for this tune to be brought out of the drawer and given its moment to shine in the world.
Damir Kedžo – “Spojeni Nevidljivo”
Damir was selected to represent Croatia in 2020, the year the contest was sadly canceled due to the COVID pandemic. His newest song is called “Continuously Invisible.” The music video opens with a thought-provoking quote in Greek: “Watch your thoughts, for they become your words. Watch your words, for they become your deeds. Watch your deeds, for they become our destiny. Continuously invisible.” This quote seems to set the tone for the entire song — a powerful ballad wrapped in emotion, paired with an artistic and dramatic music video about love stories. Reflecting on his latest release and the deep connection he feels with it, Damir said:
“It’s a song that quietly entered my heart and grew over time. At first I saw it as a beautiful pop song, but over the two years of listening, from the first demo to the final version, it became much more. It brought me peace in the moments when I needed it most and carries a message that I want to share with you – in a time when it is easy to forget that we are not alone.”
Lasse feat. ISAAK – “How it ends”
This is definitely a week of ballads. And if you’re into something serene, ISAAK’s new song is perfect for you. The artist, who represented Germany last year, has teamed up with Lasse, a contestant from the televised show Dein Song. The track is an acoustic, powerful ballad with their two voices blending perfectly, creating a sound that’s sure to impress, even beyond the TV show.
O.TORVALD – “Стерти Лютий”
It’s time for some rock music! O.TORVALD, the Ukrainian rock band that competed in 2017, is back with “Erase February.” This strong rock track is here to help us leave winter behind and step into a brand new chapter of rebirth, just as nature does in the spring. Speaking about the empowering message of their newest song, the band declared:
“‘Erase February’ is an ode to a new breath, an awakening. Spring enlivens, preventing us from meeting winter again, with the same ferocity. We become stronger, putting our roots even deeper.”
Kevin Mola feat. Jessy Matador and more – “Ahou”
Since representing France in 2010, Jessy Matador has remained an iconic and viral Eurovision artist. This week, he joined Kevin Mola’s new project, alongside numerous other artists. The song is savage and powerful, with a lineup that could easily form a successful group. Kevin created the track as a way to honor his Congolese roots, bringing together a mix of influences and sounds that showcase his heritage.
Maraaya – “Si”
Maraaya, the Slovenian duo who competed in 2015, are back this week with a heart-breaking ballad about unfulfilled love. The track showcases their outstanding vocals, raw emotions, and a music video that beautifully captures the pain that love can sometimes bring. This song is personal, though it doesn’t tell a story the duo themselves experienced. Instead, it reflects the story of some of their friends who ended up parting ways. Speaking about the song and the story behind it, the duo said:
“Every love is a story. Some last forever, others end at the crossroads of life. Sometimes you give everything, you love with everything you are – but for someone it’s not enough. This time we captured the story of our friends through music. A love that matured, survived a lot, but in the end didn’t work out. Not according to the rules of romantic movies. Sometimes paths diverge. And it hurts. But that’s life too.”
Luka – “Zolang We Samen Zijn”
This first part concludes with Luka, who was the vocalist of the Belgian band Hooverphonic back in 2020, when the contest was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. The song she dropped this week is called “As Long as We Are Together.” It’s a pop song that impresses with Luka’s vocals, style, and class. The track carries a mysterious and dark vibe that suits Luka perfectly. It was written for Cera NL, a cooperative in Belgium, as part of their campaign called Unforgettable for Each Other.
