Members may pick up a calendar in the church lobby that lists a daily item or service that homeless people usually cannot access, i.e., a doctor’s visit, a shower or a home-cooked meal. This year’s theme during Lent is “Be Transformed.” On Sundays, we will explore the call and path to transformation found in Romans 12:1-12. On Wednesday evenings, we will explore tools for transformation in “Spiritual Disciplines for the 21st Century.” Each Wednesday we will share a meal at 6:30 p.m. and then begin our discussion at 7 p.m. Our format this year is exciting and different: We are going to be intentionally inter-generational, inviting children, students and adults into the conversation together. Our learning will center around table communities that will explore the disciplines through discussion and activities. Child care available for ages 3 and under. Please register for the meal portion only by calling the church at 412-741-1790 or at ststephenschurch.net.
