From Martinsburg:

As someone that has been in combat for this country, I ask that Republicans and Democrats please vote for someone that is not in power now. They are getting nothing done except getting more money in their pockets. This is absolutely unheard of in my 70 some years of how this government is getting nothing done for the people — either party.

From Gerrardstown:

I have been wondering why Obama has been bringing so many illegals into our country and in some way using taxpayer money to get them to our country. A comment on JJ mentioned the Cloward-Piven Strategy. I Googled it and found that it is a plan to overload our welfare system with illegals so that then have a forced government guaranteed income. In plain words…this communist government would then pay every worker the same amount…earned or not.

From Martinsburg:

George Soros and other leftist billionaires are documented funding college protests with millions through groups like U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights. They provide stipends of $2,880 to $7,800 for work organizing campaigns, demanding cutting ties to Israel or covering for Hamas. Where’s the FBI or the media in investigating these anti-American groups trying to undermine our democracy? The U.S. provides Palestine billions, as Hamas takes the money, buys arms and builds tunnels, with no Biden accountability of our tax dollars.

From Falling Waters:

The Charles Town comment on 4-28-24 was uninformed. The facts show that Trump lost the election. Being the cry baby that he is, he could not accept losing. Some of his renegade lawyers, namely Eastman and Chesebro, came up with the idea to make up a false set of electors which Trump went for. When that did not work, Trump incited the mob to overthrow the government and hang Mike Pence. Read page A9 in the Journal on 4-28-24.

From Martinsburg:

To Harpers Ferry: So, you bought a $60 Bible from Trump, and after studying it, you determined that Democrats aren’t Christians. Well, aren’t you all dressed up for church. Please listen to the sermon and talk to your pastor about Democrats not being Christians. Don’t forget to buy Trump’s golden sneakers and Angel’s wings.

From Swan Pond:

The BOE must end its power play and provide a multi-year contract to its superintendent. You are fortunate to have a locally invested, qualified person leading the district. You want the citizens/staff to support bonds and levies, then give them a leader who is willing and able to build a consistent future for the district. Please stop playing puppetry games with the short leash. Treat him as you would be treated.

From Inwood:

To Harpers Ferry: Give me one reason why a Democrat can’t be a Christian. The de facto head of the Republican Party has repeatedly committed sins against the Bible. Don’t the Ten Commandments say, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” and “Thou shalt not steal?” He hasn’t denied his affair, and he has stolen millions from his contractors. But, as usual, Republicans only chose to follow ones that they want to. You are a hypocrite.

From Hedgesville:

Capito and Manchin — their vote to support our so-called allies show that like most of Congress, both have been bought and sold by the Beltway warmongers.

From Charles Town:

New wrinkle in Trump trial. It seems Jack Smith is ineligible to act as special counsel in that he wasn’t officially appointed by the Senate, which is responsible for selecting and appointing special counsels for these specific investigations. Should SCOTUS rule to this affect, everything brought so far has to be abandoned as ill gotten. Also, what has happened to the Georgia case? And the suit brought by Alan Bragg is in peril, as well, on procedures and noncriminal evidence.

From Martinsburg:

Biden made the best Freudian slip ever. He said it. I heard the words come out of his mouth. He said, in reference to Trump, and I quote, “How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted?” Oxford dictionary, Freudian slip: an unintentional error regarded as revealing subconscious feelings. Truth be spoken.

From Inwood:

No. No. No. Don’t let people bamboozle you into thinking abortion is birth control. It is not. The story from the person from Martinsburg describing the “abortion coffee klatsch” with one, three, several women sounds totally fictitious. Abortion is very personal and private and only discussed between a woman, her health care provider, partner, period. Don’t believe the right wingers who tell you a woman may consent to an abortion up to the moment of delivery. Not true. Totally false.

From Falling Waters:

What is with the U.S. Supreme Court? Are they blinded by conservative politics so much that can’t make a clear ruling on something as simple as presidential immunity? You could take this matter to any fifth grade social studies class in Berkeley County and they could figure this out in an hour. The Court should have ruled on this matter last December but they decided to rule in April to help Trump avoid a federal trial before the election.

From Charles Town:

Climate Warriors, as well as those denoted as Climate Deniers, take note. In a “Popular Mechanics” article, by Darren Orf, “Trillions of Tons of Carbon Are Missing From Climate Models”, it is demonstrated that inorganic carbon is intentionally left out of the Atmospheric Carbon models. It comes from soil, you know, dirt. Eliminating exhaust from fossil fuel combustion may be irrelevant, and in addition to other articles published, harmful. Why is this not mentioned otherwise? Politics.

From Martinsburg:

Did you realize that Jewish folks are part of the protest movement as well? Golf clap for being woke though. I’m not claiming they are a majority in the protests, but a faction that elected a whole five Latinas and two Asian members to the House last year obviously knows that a few members means the whole is exempt from accusations.
