Al– Quds Day The last Friday of Ramadan (Friday May 7th) is marked around the world as Yaum al Quds.

These commemorations began some forty-two years ago shortly after the Islamic Revolution in Iran, as an annual affirmation of the Muslim’s solidarity with people of Palestine in their struggle for the liberation of al-Quds.

To commemorate this day during Ramadan, a month of struggle (Jehad) is symbolic. It was during Ramadan that Muslims fought their first battle – Badr to liberated Mecca from the clutches of idol worshipers (Mushrikeen).

Since Al-Quds day was first proclaimed, Muslims worldwide have observed this day, drawing attention to the violation of Zionist and desecration of Islam’s third holiest Mosque, as well as their continued occupation of Palestine and their repression of the Palestinian people.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is revered by Muslims as the place from which the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Al-Quds is the Arabic name of Jerusalem, Islam’s third holiest city after Mecca and Medina. Jerusalem is a holy city, a city of three divine faiths.

Al Quds is mark with processions and speeches reminding Muslim Ummah (communities) about the plight of Masjid al-Aqsa and the land of Palestine.

Every Muslims should be aware of the continuing threat to the city of Jerusalem (al-Quds) and the Mosque itself.

The Mosque has been undermining by opening tunnels running below in the name of archaeology and science. Opening tunnels is having the effect of weakening the structure of the Mosque.

The tunnels could be used to plant bombs which could destroy the Mosque, and which the Zionist state could blame on individual extremist.

Since the Zionist occupation of Palestine, land confiscation, building illegal settlements, religious persecution, and demolition of the Palestinian home is a daily occurrence Both Muslims and Christians have suffered the Zionists’ brutality and persecution.

The support of Iran for the Palestinians is convincing and unquestionable. The actions speak louder. In 1979, Imam Khomeini launched a yearly Jerusalem Day (Al Quds) which is last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan in support for the Palestinians and named the elite expeditionary unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as Al Quds force after the holy city of Jerusalem known in Arabic as Al Quds.

History will show no mercy to the Arab nations who have betrayed and abandon the Palestinian Statehood in favor of recognizing Zionist Israel and the “Deal of the Century. And there are many Muslim organizations in USA who have dropped Palestinian cause with donations and trips to Israel by Zionist organizations.

These organization do not commemorate the UN Palestinian solidarity day, NAKBA, or Al Quds Day.

I would like to tell the leaders of Arab nations, for over seventy years you have not able to stand up against Zionist Israel’s. On the contrary you join the Donald Trump’s “Deal of the Century”. Yours only interest is to change regime in Iran and Syria.

You might be next too! Look at Saddam Hussain and Ghaddafi.

Arab monarchies and Bedouin kingdom of Saudi Arabia are dealing with the Zionist entity rather than boycotting the trade. Arab monarchies see Iran as the region’s greatest threat to their power, and Israel as a potential ally against it.

Authoritarian regimes in the Arab world are working to undermine the two-state solution with Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.

Iran’s enemies are the enemies of Islam and will never liberate Al Quds. Road to liberate Jerusalem is through Mecca and Medina. It is a wakeup call for the Sunnis. You are either with Shias or you with Zionist.

On Feb. 18, 1979, Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader was the first foreign dignitary to visit Tehran after the revolution. He later told reporters “That I felt as if I was landing in Jerusalem…Today, we are witnessing the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran and tomorrow we shall see the victor in Palestine”.

Jerusalem still endures. It was once described as “the flower of all cities” in a famous song by the Lebanese Diva Fairouz. Listen to the song: Will make you cry! The Flower of The Cities, Fairuz زهرة المدائن فيروز

In the struggle for peace thru justice!

Speak Up! Silent No More!
