JUI-S chief calls for Islamic revolution

NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief and Difa-e-Pakistan Council Chairman Maulana Samiul Haq on Sunday said that the politicians were engaged in slanging match when the country was facing serious crisis.

Talking to religious scholars from various districts who had called on him, the JUI-S chief said that Islamic revolution was the only solution.

“The situation has reached the point where innocent children were being raped by the monsters,” he said, adding that 210 million Pakistanis would have to forge unity for bringing the revolution in their country.

Religious scholars from Buner district Maulana Muhammad Shirin also led a 10- member delegation. On the occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Iftikhar Raziq announced joining JUI-S.

The delegation of the southern district was led by Shah Abdul Aziz who also discussed the next general election with Maulana Samiul Haq.

Maulana Samiul Haq said that some elements were spreading the rumors that JUI-S had entered into an electoral alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
