Kirill, the Patriarch of Moscow and of All Russia, has received the order St. Demetrius of Bessarabia – first degree, from the Bulgarian Metropolitan of Ruse Naum during an official meeting of a Bulgarian church delegation with His Holiness.
The meeting in Moscow was on the occasion of the centenary since the council at which following a break of close to 300 years the Patriarchate of Russia was restored.
On behalf of the Bulgarian delegation Metropolitan Naum has conferred the order St. Demetrius of Bessarabia to the head of the Russian church and has thanked the Patriarch for the eight church bells that he gave as a present to the All Saints Church in Ruse.
